Laser hair removal permanently reduces hair by targeting and damaging the hair root. The laser is drawn to the
pigment (color) in the hair, making it most effective when there is good contrast between the hair and skin tones.
Following treatment, a small stem of hair is left behind, which the skin naturally pushes out over 2-3 weeks. During this period, the hairs may seem to grow, but they are actually being shed. You can gently pull them out with your fingers (no tweezers!) during this time.
Once these hairs shed, there’s a phase of minimal growth. However, as hair grows in cycles, new hair will appear in approximately 6-8 weeks for the body and 4-6 weeks for the face, making it time for your next session.
